Flexible summer lesson packages

Summer is weird.

Your schedule is probably weird.

Mine is weird.

And my private students’ schedules are weird too. Which means that even though my studio is officially still full, I have a bit more time over the next few months to work with those of you who prefer to dip in and out of lessons anyway, rather than coming every week.

Perhaps you’d like my short-term help with…

  • More deeply integrating the material from one of my courses that you took (Fiddleprov, Chords for Fiddlers, Get Past Your Fear of Weird Keys, or even something from the halcyon days of in-person classes)?

  • Getting ready for a specific gig, festival, or other jam situation you’re looking forward to now that you’re vaccinated?

  • Digging into a specific technique or area of music theory that you’ve always meant to get around to learning?

  • General accountability for getting yourself re-focused on fiddle after whatever the hell 2020 was?

I’m here for ya.

Caveats—how to know if this isn’t a good fit for you:

  • If you’re not comfortable using Zoom on a computer (not a phone), you’ll need to figure that out on your own. My availability for tech support is minimal.

  • If you’re a brand new fiddle player, still getting set up with the basics of holding your instrument and using the bow, this isn’t going to be a good fit for you. Honestly, I think you’ll have a much less frustrating experience if you hold off until you can find safe in-person lessons with a teacher you can work with long term.

Otherwise, we should be good to go!

Choose an option below to get started:

I can only handle one or two people at this level, so don’t dilly-dally if this is what you want.
